TradeGives is a charity transparency initiative. Our website is tradegives.com. When we say "we", "us" or "TradeGives", we mean this website and the people who run it.

TradeGives accounts
We store your name, email address, a hashed password, selected cause, referral click references, order IDs you submit for review, reported purchases, commissions and donation allocations. We compare a submitted order ID and your verified account email with a provider report to help review a purchase claim; a match alone does not confirm a referral or donation. Provider reports used for reconciliation may include customer and order identifiers, purchase details and the email address used with the provider. These records support your dashboard and reconciliation. Essential session cookies protect login. Short-lived hashed identifiers help limit repeated login attempts.
NGOs do not receive your personal purchase history through this website. Donation receipts are published only after an administrator confirms they have been redacted. To request access, correction or account closure, email hello@tradegives.com from your registered address. Financial records may need to be retained separately from an active account.
Other website information
We collect as little as possible:
- Analytics data — analytics scripts are currently disabled.
- Referral data — when tracked links are enabled, the prop firm may record a referral. We store the logged-in user, chosen cause, random local reference and visit time. For providers that return click references, those references support report matching. For Gripen manual review, the local reference is not sent to Gripen and does not prove a purchase; we compare a submitted order number and verified email with its reports.
TradeGives does not collect your payment-card details or identity documents through this website. We do store reported challenge purchases, prices, commissions and donation allocations associated with your account.
How we use it
- Account services — to authenticate you, deliver account emails, remember your cause, match affiliate reports and show donation records.
Cookies and analytics
Analytics and advertising scripts are not enabled in this release. Before adding these services, we will update this notice and provide the appropriate consent controls.
The account area uses an essential session cookie to keep you logged in and protect account forms.
Third-party links
TradeGives links to external prop firm partner sites. Once you leave our site, their privacy policies apply. We don't control what they collect.
We do not send charitable organisations your TradeGives account or purchase history. A donation may identify TradeGives as the payer.
Data sharing
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data. Full stop.
Hosting and email providers process the information needed to host accounts and deliver verification and password-reset messages. Where a prop firm supports individual click tracking, our tracked link sends a random reference to that firm, not your TradeGives name or email. Gripen Funding does not return that reference; its manual-review link contains only the TradeGives affiliate identifier, not the member’s name, email or local reference. A provider may separately send TradeGives customer and order information in reports used to reconcile referrals.
We may disclose information where required by applicable law.
Your rights
You have the right to:
- Access the account and activity data we hold about you
- Request account closure or correction — contact us from your registered email address. We will explain how your account and retained transaction records will be handled.
- Account emails — this release sends verification and password-reset messages, not a newsletter.

Data retention
We retain account records while providing account services. Purchase, commission and donation records support reconciliation and the donation history. Contact us about retention or account closure. Verification links expire after 24 hours and password-reset links after 30 minutes. Expired authentication tokens and rate-limit records are removed by scheduled housekeeping.
Children
TradeGives is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has submitted data to us, contact us and we'll delete it immediately.
Changes to this policy
If we make meaningful changes, we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We won't email you every time we fix a typo, but significant changes will be highlighted on the website.
